Sometimes non-beer drinkers turn to sours as a way to introduce familiar, non-beer flavors into beer. My mom won’t touch a Coors Light, but she orders a sour every time we step into a brewery. Go Brewing is on a self-proclaimed mission to craft the best NA beer on the planet so it’s no surprise that their New School Sour is a very accurate take on the format. From flavor to finish, this NA brew is authentic.
If you’re really into sours, or normally not really into beer, give this one a try.
The Review:
Drinks like a very traditional sour. A bit more blueberry than strawberry on the palette but the fruit floods in with every drink leading the way in the flavor.
But the fruit doesn’t stand in the way of the hops. There’s a subtle floral note that the hops deliver throughout giving way to a surprising earthy finish that really deliver on that taste of… well, beer.
Drink this one ice cold out of the can or poured into your favorite emotional support beer glass.
